Obama outraised Romney in Va. during April


In April, President Barack Obama outraised Republican Mitt Romney in donations of $200 or more from Virginia residents.

Obama led Romney $483,000 to $332,000 in April, according to a list of itemized presidential donors from Virginia provided by the nonprofit Center for Responsive Politics.

Romney still holds a slim overall lead -- $3.3 million to 3.2 million -- among Virginians who have given at least $200. The figures do not include totals from small donors.
