At the start of each year, the Governor, Lt. Governor and Attorney General are among those state officials required to disclose certain information about their personal finances. The reason is to disclose personal financial holdings that could pose a potential conflict of interest with the duties performed in the public trust. The disclosures also include any personal gifts/trips accepted in 2012.
