May 25: Lighten Up, It's Just Politics

Celebrate VPAP's 20th anniversary at our annual fundraiser at the Downtown Richmond Marriott on Thursday, May 25.

Lighten Up, It's Just Politics will feature political comedy from Speaker of the House Bill Howell, Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee Del. Chris Jones, and Senate Democratic Caucus Chair Mamie Locke. The event will kick off with a reception at 11:30am, followed by the luncheon and main program at noon.

Our annual luncheon is unlike any other event in Virginia. Modeled after the White House Correspondents' Dinner, people from across the political spectrum come together laugh with each other and network in a lighthearted environment. Over 300 legislators, cabinet officials, and business leaders can't be wrong!

Sponsorship Opportunities:

Individual tickets are $350. All proceeds benefit the nonprofit Virginia Public Access Project, a nonpartisan organization dedicated to transparency in Virginia politics. The deadline to RSVP is May 18.
