Tom Whipple's popular daily digest of Virginia news stories will have a slightly new name this June: the VPAP Whipple Report.
Whipple announced Thursday morning that he's entrusting VPAP with the service after he retires in June. He was greeted with a standing ovation at VPAP's sold out annual breakfast.
“I’m
very pleased that VPAP is taking this project on,” Whipple said. “I’m confident
that they will do an excellent job of continuing and even improving the
service.”
Current Whipple subscribers will be automatically rolled into the VPAP system during the transition. New subscribers can register at http://www.vpap.org/signup.
