SCHAPIRO: POST-ELECTION, MCDONNELL STRUGGLES FOR RELEVANCE

George Allen was defeated for Senate, again. Republican strongholds, such as Chesterfield County, Chesapeake and Virginia Beach, looked less so. The morning after, McDonnell — because he’s great with a script — stuck with his: Republicans still have a credible message. The packaging is wrong.
