MCDONNELL OUTLINES GOALS OF HIS TRANSPORTATION FUNDING PLAN

Bob McDonnell says he is crafting a transportation funding plan that will eliminate the need to shift millions from road construction to cover maintenance by 2019, and put new money into roads, bridges, transit and passenger rail. McDonnell’s comments came in a news release as he addressed his annual transportation conference this afternoon in Tyson’s Corner.
