A year after state lawmakers were lampooned on nationwide TV for subjecting women to mandatory ultrasounds before having an abortion, state Senate Republicans were named “Alpha Dogs of the Week” Wednesday night by faux conservative comedian Stephen Colbert for their audacious maneuver to redraw Senate district lines in their favor.
