Two New PAC Registrations

VPAP has posted information on the following two new committees who have registered with the State Board of Elections:

• Stafford County Victory PAC
• Johnson & Johnson PAC (Federal PAC)

New Lobbyist Registrations

VPAP has posted 27 lobbyist registrations for the 2008-09 year that started May 1.

2 of these registrations were annual renewals of existing lobbyist-client relationships. Click here for first-time relationships.

Roanoke City Council Update

VPAP has updated its campaign contribution listings to include the post-election campaign finance reports filed by candidates for Roanoke Mayor and City Council. The reports were filed Monday and are current through June 10.

New: South Hampton Roads Elections

In partnership with The Virginian-Pilot, VPAP has posted campaign finance contributions for candidates running in the following localities:

May Elections

• Chesapeake
• Norfolk
• Portsmouth

The information for May election candidates is these localities is current through May 25. VPAP soon will post contributions from the post-election reports that were due June 16.

November Elections

• Suffolk
• Virginia Beach

The information for November election candidates is these localities is current through May 28. The candidates' next report will be due July 15.

VPAP has posted 21 lobbyist registrations for the 2008-09 year that started May 1.

All of these registrations were annual renewals of existing lobbyist-client relationships.

Richmond & Virginia Beach Candidate Lists

Tuesday was the deadline for candidates for local office to submit applications for the November elections. VPAP has updated the candidate list in two localities:

Richmond

Virginia Beach

The lists are unofficial. The electoral boards in each locality must certify each candidate submitted enough signatures to qualify for the ballot.
