Summary

As Introduced. Passing a stopped school bus; penalty.

Requires that any person who fails to stop his vehicle and remain stopped when approaching, from any direction, a school bus that is stopped on any highway, private road, or school driveway for the purpose of taking on or discharging passengers, and as the sole and proximate result of his reckless driving causes the serious injury or death of another, is guilty of a Class 5 felony.
