Summary

As Introduced. Lobbyist disclosure; out-of-state registration report.

Requires any lobbyist required to register in the Commonwealth who (i) lobbies in another state and is required to register as a lobbyist pursuant to that state's laws or (ii) lobbies before the federal government and is required to register as a lobbyist pursuant to federal law to file an annual report disclosing where and for whom he lobbies outside the Commonwealth. The report is required to be filed with the Virginia Conflict of Interest and Ethics Advisory Council by May 1 on a form prescribed by the Council, and the Council is required to include the reports on the searchable database maintained by the Council.
