Summary

As Introduced. Evaluation of Department of Transportation projects; impact on real property owners.

Creates a method whereby certain real property owners can request an evaluation of a completed Department of Transportation (the Department) project to determine whether the project has created a significant financial burden on such landowners. The bill requires the Department to take certain corrective steps if a project has created such a burden. The bill creates a method by which the requesting landowner can rebut the Department's findings and bring a civil action against the Department. (Less)
