Summary

As Introduced. Overdose death review teams.

Establishes the State Overdose Death Review Process Team to develop and implement processes to ensure that overdose deaths occurring in the Commonwealth are reviewed in a systematic way. The bill also authorizes the establishment of local or regional overdose death review process teams for the purpose of conducting contemporaneous reviews of local overdose deaths in order to develop interventions and strategies for prevention specific to the locality or region.
