Summary

As Introduced. Charter; Town of Haymarket.

Updates the charter for the Town of Haymarket in Prince William County to reflect the shift of municipal elections from May to November. Additional changes include (i) updating the town's boundary description, (ii) removing a provision requiring an affirmative vote of a majority of all of the members elected to the town council for approval of certain debts and appropriations, (iii) deleting outdated provisions, and (iv) providing numerous clarifying and technical changes.
