Visualization: Assembly Gender Gap Narrows


Among new members of the House of Delegates sworn in yesterday, women outnumbered men 12 to 7. Today, Women represent more than one-quarter of the 140-member state legislature. VPAP's latest data visualization looks at how Virginia ranks nationally and details the last 65 years of female representation in the General Assembly.
