About the Virginia Public Access Project
For 25 years, the nonprofit Virginia Public Access Project (VPAP) has elevated public understanding of Virginian politics. Our website and data visualizations provide insights into campaign donations, the legislative process, election results and more. We also produce VaNews, a free daily news aggregation service with more than 22,000 subscribers.
VPAP’s nonpartisan approach has won the trust and support of legislators, business leaders and individuals from across the political spectrum.
Our seven-member team is currently working remotely. Plans call for an eventual return to a hybrid system that will include two days a week working in person from a loft office space in historic Shockoe Slip in downtown Richmond, a few blocks from the State Capitol.
