VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Vice President Mike Pence will be visiting Regent University this coming Wednesday, Oct. 24. 

Pence will appear as a special guest at an event for Congressman Scott Taylor. The event is scheduled to last only one hour, starting at 5:30 p.m. and ending at 6:30 p.m. It will take place in the School of Communication and Arts Theatre at Regent University at 1000 Regent University Drive.

Admission is free on a first come first serve basis, but an RSVP for the event is required by Oct. 22. You can RSVP here. Reserved seats are available for $100. To reserve a seat you must contact events@scotttaylor.us. 

Taylor is currently representing Virginia’s 2nd District, which includes all of Accomack and Northampton counties, and portions of York County, Virginia Beach, Williamsburg, Norfolk and Hampton. He was elected in 2016. Check out our candidate profile here.

Scott is currently running as the incumbent against Elaine Luria for the Nov. 6 election.

Scott’s campaign remains under investigation for alleged fraudulent petitions circulated on behalf of then independent candidate, Shaun Brown, ahead of the primaries in June. Check out our coverage here.
