Virginia's Household Unit Response Rate

The Trump Administration reported this week that the Census has enumerated 98.7% of housing units in Virginia. The data showed every state with a response rate of at least a 90%, with Virginia ranked 31st.

Note:The "response rate” is the percent of all housing units that have completed the 2020 Census. This does not represent the percent of the population counted by the Census, since some populations do not live at a single residence, such as the homeless and college students. This does not account for the number of people in each household. Data from September 28, 2020.
