Which Legislators Are Busier This Year?

Two measures of legislators' workload are 1) the number of committee assignments and 2) the number of bills sponsored. The chart below shows how these two factors changed for individual lawmakers compared to 2018.

Note: Only inlcudes the 113 returning legislators who served in 2018 and 2020.
The change in bills calculation only includes House Bills (HB) and Senate Bills (SB); resolutions and joint resolutions are not included.
The change in committee assignments include assignments on committees and subcommittees; "ex officio" assignments are excluded from the calculation.
