Limits to Put Brakes on Legislation

Virginia lawmakers accustomed to introducing dozens of measures will need to be more selective next month when the annual legislative session begins. Because the pandemic is hampering the legislative process, the Senate of Virginia will limit each member to 12 bills, while the House of Delegates will set a cap at seven. The limits won't apply to 384 bills carried over from last winter's session.
