Postpones from July 1, 2017, to July 1, 2018, the date by which the Department of Taxation is required to conduct its first recalculation of the percentage of funds in the Wireless E-911 Fund that is required to be distributed to each public safety answering point (PSAP). The recalculation is required to be based on the cost and call load data of each PSAP for the previous five fiscal years. This bill is identical to SB 1003. (Less)
