Summary

As Introduced. Foreclosure advertisements; posted at courthouse and on local government or circuit court website.

Provides that, in lieu of newspaper advertisements, foreclosure sales shall be advertised at the courthouse and on the website of the public government of the locality served by the court or of the circuit court for the county or city in which the property to be sold is located, and that the clerk shall place a small notice in a newspaper having a general circulation in the city or county in which the property to be sold is located informing the public of the location of such advertisements. The bill has a delayed effective date of January 1, 2018. (Less)
