Fare enforcement inspectors; fares for use of mass transit.

As Introduced. Fare enforcement inspectors.
Provides for the appointment of fare enforcement inspectors to enforce payment of fares for use of mass transit facilities operated anywhere in the Commonwealth. Currently, fare enforcement inspectors may be appointed only in Planning District 8 (Northern Virginia). Under current law, failure of a transit user to pay the fare ... (More) or produce proof of fare payment to such fare enforcement inspectors carries a civil penalty of not more than $100. This bill is identical to HB 1931. (Less)-
