Summary

As Passed House of Origin. Limitation on prosecution of felony due to lapse of time after finding of probable cause; exceptions; competency evaluation.

Provides that the speedy trial statute is tolled for an evaluation or restoration to determine a defendant's competency to stand trial. This bill is identical to SB 804.
