General Assembly WebQuest

This WebQuest was created by Renee Serrao, an award-winning government teacher at Cosby High School in Chesterfield County and valued member of VPAP's Civics Navigator Panel of Advisors. Having successfully used this resource in her own classroom for years, Ms. Serrao designed it to help students navigate VPAP.org and develop a deeper understanding of the Virginia General Assembly. The activity guides learners through discovering their legislative districts, learning about their representatives, exploring legislative demographics, and engaging with current bills -- providing an interactive introduction to Virginia's legislative process.
