"Lighten Up, It's Just Politics" is back!
Political humor and networking
Headliners:
Delegate Barry Knight (R-Virginia Beach)
Senator Louise Lucas (D-Portsmouth)
The nonpartisan Virginia Public Access Project uses humor to bring people together in support of our mission to elevate public understanding of Virginia politics. The “Lighten Up” Luncheon is a space where politicians can poke good-natured fun at themselves and others. It’s a reminder that while politics is serious business, we shouldn’t always take ourselves too seriously.
