Back-to-School Plans

With the pandemic on the loose, Virginia's public school districts will start the 2020-21 school year with a variety of instructional models. The situation is fluid, with some districts still determining how many students will return to the classroom this fall.

"Hybrid" indicates some combination of in-classroom instruction and remote learning. This includes plans where younger elementary children return to the classroom and older children are taught remotely; where students come to school some days and learn from home others; and where parents have the choice of what kind of instruction their children receive.
