In Va., Biden Still Outpaces Trump

For the third time in the last four months, Democrat Joe Biden in June reported more than $1 million in donations from Virginia residents. A clear comparison is difficult, however, because of delays in Trump's monthly reporting.*

Note: Dollar amounts shown are itemized contributions reported by presidential candidates from individuals with a Virginia address between 01/01/2020 and 06/30/2020. Trump's totals include donations that were passed through a joint fundraising committee called Trump Make America Great Again. * The lag in reporting by the Trump campaign may be related to his arrangement with the Trump Make America Great Again committee. For example, since the June reporting deadline, the Trump campaign updated its April and May numbers to add $306,000 in previously unreported donations from Virginia residents.
