State Senate challengers get early start on 2019

Six first-time candidates reported this week that they had begun raising money for a State Senate bid, nearly 18 months ahead of the 2019 elections. That's the most early-bird fundraising since VPAP began tracking money in Virginia elections. No such trend in the House of Delegates.
