First-Year Vetoes

Gov. Glenn Youngkin has vetoed a total of 33 bills this year, more than any governor in their first year in office since Gov. Jim Gilmore (37) in 1998.

Note: An earlier version of this visual showed 26 vetoes for Gov. Youngkin. Seven more vetoes were added on May 27th, when Youngkin announced the fate of bills where his recommendations were not adopted by the General Assembly.
