'Home Cooking' Ain't What it Used to Be
In the era of massive early voting, figuring out how candidates fared in their home precincts is no longer a straightforward exercise. The only precinct-level results the Virginia Department of Elections makes available were those ballots cast on Election Day.
Note: These are only in-person election day results.
Republican Candidates
Because Republican voters are more likely to wait until Election Day, most GOP congressional candidates this year rolled up big day-of-election numbers in their home precincts.
