Big Donors Flock to Youngkin

In his first two full quarters in office, Gov. Glenn Youngkin, a former private equity executive, has taken greater advantage of Virginia's unlimited campaign finance laws than his predecessors. In the last six months, his PAC has raised $3.2 million in donations of $10,000 or more — more than twice as much as his predecessors.

Terry McAuliffe); 2018 by The Way Ahead (Gov. Ralph Northam); and 2022 by Spirit of Virginia (Gov. Glenn Youngkin). The visual does not include any contributions in amounts smaller than $10,000.
