As Introduced. Health insurance; coverage for polycystic ovary syndrome.

Requires health insurers, health maintenance organizations, and corporations providing health care coverage subscription contracts to provide coverage for the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome, as defined in the bill, diagnosed by a licensed physician or health care provider, including diagnosis by a gynecologist, endocrinologist, primary care physician, pediatrician, nurse practitioner, dermatologist, or infertility specialist. The bill specifies the types of treatment covered for polycystic ovary syndrome and applies to policies, contracts, and plans delivered, issued for delivery, or renewed on or after January 1, 2025.
